A Vue.js web app, powered by a Go backend, that went viral in April 2021.
At its peak, we were serving around 3,500 requests/second and had around 1.4 million unique visitors.
Primarily I worked on the frontend of the site, including converting it from a vanilla JS app to a Vue app when we decided to implement more advanced functionality. We used howler.js, a library which reduces play latency and irons out the many quirks of HTML audio.
